Our Stories Beyond Borders

Our Stories Beyond Borders is a 12‑month integration initiative led by Lions Befrienders in Singapore that connects Singaporean seniors, younger locals, and foreign residents through intercultural storytelling events. In partnership with three foreign organisations via their embassies, the project provides a platform for shared narratives on identity, belonging and transformation, featuring live storytelling, cultural exchange and guided conversations. Each series concludes with a public showcase co‑hosted with a school or the National Library Board, extending the impact to the wider community. The programme aims to weave diverse experiences into the national narrative, fostering mutual understanding and social cohesion. Structure
● 3 storytelling events (1 per foreign organisation) - 50 to 80 pax each 2
